On Saturday 17th September Harari Ahadnat Afocha Australia (HAA) has celebrated Shual Eid in a spectacular fashion.  The HAA, the first and the grand Harari afocha in Australia was established some quarter of a century ago by first Harari settlers in Melbourne.  It recently marked its 25th birthday which brought Harari Regional leadership including its president to Australia for the first time ever.  At its heydays the organisation's benefits to all Hararis was undisputed and was felt beyond borders. However it was never immune to the modern Harari ideological tussles. Its glory succumbed to the senseless battles that raged on in and around it for years.
